One feature film, pulled from a deterministic daily rotation.
Movie Frame · Active build
Six frames. One film.
A single movie is selected every day at 00:00 UTC. You see the first still. You submit a title. A wrong guess unlocks the next angle. Six attempts, then the dossier is sealed — won or lost — and filed into the permanent archive.
The manifest
A short set of rules. Nothing changes between sessions. The only variable is the film.
Six stills, extracted from public storyboard tiles.
Six total. Hints unlock at attempts three through six.
Twenty-four hours. Reset at 00:00 UTC, sharp.
Free. No account. No tracking. No ads.
Four steps to a sealed dossier
The loop is the same every day. Master it once and the only thing left is the film.
- 01
Acquire the first frame
A single still, cropped from the daily film. No title, no year, no cast. Just the image.
- 02
Submit a title
Type the film you think it is. Fuzzy matching forgives spelling, articles, and minor punctuation.
- 03
Wrong? Unlock the next angle
Each failed attempt reveals a new frame. After attempt three, the release year and the leading cast begin to surface.
- 04
Right? Dossier is sealed
The full record drops — director, runtime, trailer, archive entry. The clock resets at 00:00 UTC.
Six angles, one truth
Here is the full strip from a past dossier, in order. The first frame is what you see on the first guess. The sixth is the final reveal.

- No. Progress, streaks and stats stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
- What happens at midnight?
- A new film is selected deterministically from the catalog. The previous day is filed into the permanent archive.
- What if I skip a day?
- Your streak resets. The archive is unaffected — every past dossier is browsable forever.

- Film metadata is fetched from TMDB. Trailers are linked from YouTube. Frames are extracted from public storyboards.
